I thought the 707 number was a result of - “we were aiming for 710 and we got as close to that as possible”. Didn’t know a specific HP could be planed for and attained, and assumed the final HP number is the result of all the mechanicals working together.

Yes it was (is) a dangerous road cycling course, but the argument can be made that lots of people “survived” through those corners and went on the podium. I bet this would be a counter argument from the course designers.
