Not sure why, but this story made me happy! Either because he’s a cop into cars, and can perhaps understand car guys, or because of that nice R32 - clean and neat, especially the engine bay.
I drove mine in 2014. Was real excited about the car, and now that I think about it, it WAS a Hybrid. This was the time when everyone was excited about going Hybrid, more so than now-a-days.
Yes - that’s how it was for me, with a truck barreling down behind you. worst experience ever!
The only thing sport about electric steering, or in your case, is you wrestling with the steering wheel to keep going straight. I haven’t made so many turns just to go straight. NEVER RENTING A HYUNDAI AGAIN.
True story - even a 125 HP ‘96 Camry can lose traction on wet road - mine did on an on-ramp, and hit the guard rail. I still have scratch marks on my wrists where the airbags deployed. You gotta respect the rain and the weak traction it gives us!
How does that Porsche drive?
On a related note - an electric steering Hyundai Sonata (Hybrid, I think). Had not the faintest road feel. Was scared to drive it at highway speeds and turning it without any steering feedback what-so-ever! Not good...
How do/ did you like the X-type that’s in your “name”? :)
Tesla’s internal testing were Alpha tests. The people OPTING to buy these are BETA testers. Full fledged sales, like other manufacturers, will be the normal version, by which time all the kinks would have been ironed out. This is the type 3, I would think. Till then complaints will keep rolling in!
Sure, we believe you.
I have a feeling this is a marketing ploy as well - similar to the Range Rover cheating husband. You can see him following the X5 in front. And he also says its a BMW i3. BMW commercial all the way!
Deleted obvious question - it was flipped over BEFORE you drove it to Cali!
Parting with 20% means lower returns.. unless I’m missing something.
How is #3 a higher return? Unless you are laundering someone else’s money, then its free for you!
You are living there or here?
This is really grounded to the ground now!
I guess the low pressure tire keeps them grounded to the ground?
And when your car can do that, do you really give a shit whether the infotainment system works or not?
