How do/ did you like the X-type that’s in your “name”? :)
The topic that started your quest: Who, in their good mind, rents out a new Mercedes? Has anyone used the TURO app?
Tesla’s internal testing were Alpha tests. The people OPTING to buy these are BETA testers. Full fledged sales, like other manufacturers, will be the normal version, by which time all the kinks would have been ironed out. This is the type 3, I would think. Till then complaints will keep rolling in!
Sure, we believe you.
I have a feeling this is a marketing ploy as well - similar to the Range Rover cheating husband. You can see him following the X5 in front. And he also says its a BMW i3. BMW commercial all the way!

I guess the low pressure tire keeps them grounded to the ground?
And when your car can do that, do you really give a shit whether the infotainment system works or not?
My exact thoughts... out of any other safer regions (are there any left anymore), he chose this place...
High probability of neck strangling during braking/ crash.
See, what you said is a cause for confusion - not your comments per-se, but the way these things work. If what wooley_bear above said is true, then a BMW or Audi would last that long as well, but they don’t. Or is there something inherently wrong with them that they break-down irrespective of maintenance schedule? My…
Didn’t the Volvo have a lot of parts changed on its way to a million miles? That doesn’t count. A Yugo, with a similar approach to maintenance and parts-swap, would count as well.
How’s the reliability on these? After 3 years and beyond if anyone were to buy this. Anyone have one who can chime in?
Can’t even TRY saying that with a straight face!
Should we feel sorry for you? Anyways, we do. There.. there...
