Or the portal games, or the halflife games, or the first Daus Ex... He likes a lot of games, its just he also sees the glaring faults in others. The ones on good games are really funny just because he has to try harder to come up with stuff to rag on.

Hate to say it but creative people do need management, or projects just go wild. Ive seen that happen far far too often. The issue is that the publishers (people with money) have far too much of a say in the product, and normally the say is only in ways to bring them more money.

Heres hoping this trend of games getting their start on kickstarter keeps going, or at least leads into something new that will replace it with something better.

Not when you take into account all the new operations that it will be using the ram for, like all the read/write operations for the GPU that they upgraded, increased core management, and managing the different radios on the system. Yes it is larger than just turning on the display, but just handling the extra

Doubling the ram likely took a good chunk of that as well.

I certainly hope so, because to be honest i don't like Kayak's interface much at all, its cluttered and it's odd filtering display stuff makes it hard to figure out what i am going to get when i check or uncheck something. Most of the google tool interfaces i like, so if they can clean that up providing the same

Not yet, but give it a bit longer and i think it will be. Kayak has more features to search with, and sometimes can find you good bundle deals.

First thing you learn about making games is that your ideas are horrible... And an MMO? They are some of the most difficult to design and implement of anything out there. Talk about jumping into the deep end without knowing how to swim.

The problem is that "everyday folks" are just as stupid as most other people... My vote is on children, everyone knows they have NO filter between brain and mouth.

I think it should be "the German-born Scientist working as a patent clerk into a Nobel Prize winner."

Exact same thing happened at GDC... now it is a massive conference that is recognized world wide. But where it used to be a place where students and new designers could go and rub elbows with some of the big movers, it pretty much is just big industry people patting themselves on the back and trying to make big

First of all there is no micro transactions. Not even a monthly fee. Second of all ALL pre-orders from the NCSoft website gets the 3day head start, it is only if you buy from bestbuy/gamestop/wherever that you only get 1 day early. Plus if you order from NCSoft you save money by not having to either go to the store on

I think the both of them seem to be guessing a little. I cant find any references from NCSoft that actually state the price other than the collectors edition.

Are we sure on those prices? i see a few other sites that have 59.99/69.99.

Nah this is a reverse babelfish. you would have to swallow this and have it stick in your throat.

I've only seen one of the videos on there. Do I win?

Thankfully people like you with programming experience and too much time will shortly reproduce those good things and port them to 7.

Nope i can get dos games working on 7. Just a bit more work.

Maybe not a pile of crap... but not worth spending money on/upgrading to? yeah. I think they will get LOTS of feed back, and hopefully windows 9 be better. I also expect it to run on my quantum computer and control my jetpack with my thoughts.

My mind was just blown by win.
