I mean the idea is cool (probably inspired by The Martian?) but a rtg wouldnt work very well in this application. a rtg doesnt produce alot in terms of electricity (a few hundred watts maybe), enough to run the gizmos and whatnot but nowhere near enough to run motors for actually moving a vehicle.

Last year during a snow storm in the DC area I was on my way to pick up my mom at her office since she didnt feel confident driving her rwd car home in the snow.
