It turns out playing perfectly and getting perfect RNG in every other stage is pretty difficult and unlikely. Tricks like this just widen the window for which runs can potentially result in a WR.

Yeah, same. I don’t see how BA was a failure. The day one power level hurdle that stopped a lot of people from playing the forge was stupid and annoying, but once you got your power up can could play the forges, I thought it was pretty awesome. Being able to grind rolls of a specific weapon was a huge step forward.

I’ve been to Japan seven times since 2008, and I have not noticed it becoming appreciably more “western.” The room prices at the hotels I used to stay at have shot through the room, but that’s a different issue.

Yup. There's really no reason to run anything other than Thunderlord now unless you really need your exotic slot for Ace. You can easily get 5 or 6 kills out of one heavy ammo pull, which is ridiculous.
