This...much more accurate comparison than comparing it to stock in publicly traded and operating companies. Unless it’s late 90's/early 2000's bubble with investments in companies with no real value and investors didn’t perform due diligence.

Same thing happened to me. I said that a specific argument I was quoting and replying to could be applied to stocks as well as bitcoin and I got more than twenty replies calling me an idiot for thinking bitcoin was like stocks.
