Oh man, I’m actually least anxious when I’m on a plane. I struggle with anxiety at work and at home, but when I’m on a long plane ride, it gives me a great opportunity to simply relax, watch a movie, drink a cocktail, and not worry that I’m not doing or missing some critical thing that I’m forgetting about.

I live in Phoenix and have hiked on Piestewa Peak - what looks like flat ground here is actually a pretty big slope. There isn’t really a flat part on the mountain. Plus there is a ton of loose rocks and dust - its a desert landscape - so landing really close would have really thrown a lot of stuff around.
