Its EDGE now not explorer and its better.
Its EDGE now not explorer and its better.
Because it’s always been built in to Windows, so there’s nothing additional to install, even if Firefox or Chrome are super-easy to install.
Could your workplace not use firefox, or opera, or something?
I thought it was called Edge and was good now? I don’t know, I still use Chrome.
No, in fact I work for a huge multinational corporation.
Great, this news is going to go around my workplace, and people will say “See, we shouldn’t be using Chrome”... and they will go back to using super outdated Internet Explorer.
I live in an urban apartment too, although I just signed up with a composting service, which comes around to pick up your compostable waste twice a month. I will keep the bin on my small balcony (they haven’t even delivered it yet). I have no yard or plants, and nowhere to dump composted dirt, so it works for me. I do…
If you’re re-using them 10x and then tossing in the trash, in a way that means you’re not using some other kind of disposable product, then you’re doing light years better, ecologically, than someone who uses it once and carefully recycles.
Does your dishwasher have a food grinder in it? Many newer dishwashers do, it’s basically a small disposal. But then they drain into the sink disposal itself. So if your dishwasher has a good grinder that pulverizes food into particles small enough to rinse through the hole sizes in your disposal drain, then you’re…
If you’re ending up with food on plates, and you already have a disposal and dishwasher (and you’re already rinsing your plates), it’s actually greener to use the disposal rather than scraping the food into the trash.
Garbage disposals are not *that* complicated. The article above could be condensed into: use it to throw away edible food. I find it really speeds up the process of washing dishes if I don’t have to constantly bend over the trash to scrape dishes, and have to take out the trash far less often.
The problem is that “super moons” and “blood moons” got trendy in 2014 or 2015 for a stupid reason: some nutty preacher / cult leader made up a “prophecy” about them that got insanely picked up by the media.
having Bernie in the mix is good for the other candidates. It’s going to push them all further to the left which makes me v v happy.
Yeah, the counterfactual of Bernie running and winning against Trump in a general has always been lost on me. We didn’t get to see what kind of name-calling, lying (and sadly, effectively) shit Trump is able to throw at Bernie. Why are we under the illusion that Trump wouldn’t have endlessly screamed “Comrade Bernie”…
I like Warren, but she’s too old too. I want an age limit of 70. She’d be 71 at inauguration, older than Trump was at his inauguration.
We have a lower age limit, 35, presumably based on some intention to have presidents who are mature enough to handle the job. By the same token, we should have an upper age limit. I’ll generously suggest that you have to be 70 or younger on the day of your swearing-in. But if you turn 70 during your first term, you…
People like you are the problem, not Bernie.
It has EV mode, just like my Prius, but I’ve found there’s no economical reason to manually engage it. It automatically switches over to EV mode in stop and go traffic, and even at freeway speeds when going downhill, automatically (as most hybrids do). I just leave mine in regular driving mode, and occasionally watch…
I just bought a new Insight. I’m not a huge car guy, and use it mainly for commuting to work and back. I’m getting 59 mpg on my commute, which is far better than the Prius that we now have as a second car.
TLDR:
