I wouldn’t. I’ve used the Citi Bikes in New York, and stayed on the streets like everyone else.

It’s perfectly legal in Arizona (and Phoenix, where I live) and as I said above, the sidewalks in Phoenix arealmost completely deserted most of the time. It is FAR safer for me to ride on the sidewalks than on the extremely wide, fast streets to my workplace, with cars that regularly top 50+ in a 35 zone, and scant…
I’ve considered carrying an air horn or a squirt gun to alert clueless drivers who give no shits about checking for pedestrians when turning right on red.
Almost like cyclists are entitled assholes who just want the world to cater solely to them.
I bike to and from work, on a mix of streets and (virtually empty) sidewalks in Phoenix. On the rare occasion I do encounter a pedestrian, I always ring my bell (just one of those little thumb-flick bells) at a pretty great distance. People can hear bells and know what they mean better than whatever you can yell at…
I would be equally as uncomfortable with a military unit openly endorsing Hillary as a politician as I am with Trump.
Well, in a perfect world, there would be no student loans. In a slightly-less perfect world:
Ah, yes, I think I actually have heard of this loophole, and looked into it, but its very tough to qualify for. Because to be eligible for ICR on a Parent PLUS loan, it has to be consolidated with some other kind of non-PLUS loan, like a Perkins of Stafford loan.
I didn’t know Parent PLUS loan forgiveness was possible!
She insisted on RyanAir because they’re so cheap and amazing. Except for the fact that they don’t fly to Heathrow, but rather two ‘London’ airports that would have been a 50 gbp cab ride. Essentially negating any savings. We paid $70 USD ea way ea person on Aer Lingus for a quality experience straight to Heathrow vs.…
Most airlines say the gate closes 15-20 minutes from departure. That is NOT a “get to the gate” time, that’s a cutoff time.
That’s not the airline’s fault at all - even if other fees aren’t clear, its usually quite obvious what airport they are flying too. And for many people on a particular route, proximity to the downtown core is NOT the most convenient thing for them.
But you are changing the temperature in the cabin.
Do they have a solar panel option to help run that HVAC? I’m guessing it would be likely. If that’s the case, then yes, they would have an easier time with cabin cooling. I’d love to know how well that works in the Southwest US or Southeastern states in the middle of summer.
After hearing an interview on a podcast with the White House correspondence director (the mail lady) last year, I sent a handwritten letter to President Obama, thanking him for progress on LGBT rights during his administration, and mentioned that I had just been (gay) married in the fall.
I’m on the fence about hate crimes.
Is it that mandatory sentencing is bad or that the US implemented mandatory sentencing in a flawed, racially biased way that could be reformed with enough political will?
I live in deep-blue downtown Phoenix, but of course the suburbs and rural surroundings are quite red.
If we didn’t have such a stick up our butt about such things, I say we should just give Canada the billion dollars, in exchange they just need to patrol our little slice of the Arctic on our behalf for the next 100 years.
Its going to be 8, sadly.
