I worked in a library. That's only partly true.
I worked in a library. That's only partly true.
This post reminds me of when, seemingly out of nowhere, AV Club writers were suddenly writing long stories about fish burgers, dipping sauce and exotic condiments. Good times.
What about librarians?
Oh yeah, a Duncan Jones patented complete fuck up of the third act.
No it isn't. Beat Takeshi spends all his time sitting behind a desk in Johnny Mnemonic. In GiTS he sits behind a desk, sits in a chair, sits in car, then shoots a cool gun. So GiTS wins.
I look forward to an entire episode devoted to writing a business plan, or another about moving house.
Isn't it time to invade Cuba again?
This story is hogwash and balderdash!
I don't wanna get buried in a pet semetary.
I always remember the kid at the local video store praising some Paul Bettany gangster flick. Upon returning the movie he asked me what I thought and I said it wasn't a patch on 'Performance'. His response - what's that?
That's what I liked about the trailer music - classic synth with contemporary digital signal processing - an audio equivalent of what I hope this sequel will be.
Do you want me to pour the beer, Frank?
My understanding was the Esper Edition is wholly unauthorized and contains Music/fx/score from various non film sources.
This is a gimmick account I can believe in.
I want it to sound like that score in the first 2049 trailer - the familiar synth chords from Vangelis, with some weird processing that makes it sound crunchy contemporary.
Yeah, but he's married to Bridget Fonda.
You're fired.
This does not auger well. As much as I have like select bits of recent Zimmer, particularly his score for Dunkirk, he has a tendency for sparkly melodies and cheesy orchestrations. Bring back JJ.
He may be a chat bot, but he's no Stride Mother.
If they do that the whole franchise is finished, a nostalgia piece.
