Hes currently a managing director, but the largest investor is the owner. You can see on Hiroyukis website.

Hiroyuki in a Forbes article stated he borrowed to buy it, guessing we now know whom he borrowed from.

Hey said in a Forbes article he borrowed the money. Guessing he borrowed it from this company.

Seems like employees got tired of what is considered normal in Japan, but not here and were pushed out. They should have known that working for a Japanese company.

Reading the claim they got one of the defendants names wrong in the article. Same for Polygon. Surprised it was not proofed by anyone.

He says in a Forbes interview he borrowed from an investor to buy 4chan. Potentially Good Smile could be that investor.

I just compared the Cross Complaint to the article. They actually got the names spelling wrong lol. Same for Polygon. Seems like it might have been copy pasted.

I guess them revising everything shows they are aware they have a problem.

Reading over the cross complaint it seems the employees are suing over a toxic workplace. Feels like the title is misleading.

In a Forbes article he was quoted: “Someone has to continue 4chan,” he said, adding that “I borrowed money” to make the purchase.

Very excited about this!

From the article Good Smile stated they are a part owner.

omg you are right, everything in Japan is pixelated, but not 4chan.

What year was that? around 2010? I think I remember 4chan being left wing too.

4chan seems to have mellowed in the last year. Maybe Good Smile is moderating it more.

Reading the claim, they were saying it was a toxic workplace. So makes sense them giving reasons as to why they did not like the company.

I know Japan has any companies board of directors as confidential. It is not something you can find public. But Good Smile did say they invested. Looking at their wiki they own over 100+ companies. I bet they felt the 4chan customer was their customer.
