Yea.. The MLS is currently poaching South American leagues whose economies have gone to shit. So right now the MLS is a good option to many of those players. But if the MLS keeps pushing their luck there could be plenty of mid tier European leagues that could easily start poaching over here.

I think the difference is all the best players in the MLS have other options as to where they could play.

The next CBA is going to be intense. The MLS can't pleas poverty and for the good of the league for only so long. With the new TV money and a growing need for some kind of transparency among players and the fanbase this next year is going to be crazy.
