“Tricia McCorkle, a spokeswoman for TD Garden, pointed out that the Garden and its related organizations already raise more than $2 million a year for community programs through other charitable efforts...”

Ugh, the list that could be compiled of Jeremy Jacobs’ being a Jacobs could fill a server farm with data. Here’s one of my favorites from the spokesperson he hired while fighting over control of a town/subdivision in Florida about a hip-hop concert hosted there:
Scooby Doo has taught us that most seemingly supernatural occurrences can be traced back to scheming real estate developers.
Ashton actually isn’t as dumb as he looks. Before he went Hollywood, he was studying biochemical engineering at the University of Iowa.
His dick was possessed. It’s the only explanation.
“Clearing the intersection” on a left-turn is my favorite driving maneuver so I knew immediately she wasn’t culpable. When the light turns yellow it’s your signal to enter the intersection, then when the oncoming cars stop you make your left turn. I sometimes practice traffic and accident law.
I for one am taking this article and shoving it so far up the asses of those that gave me shit for preaching caution before rushing to judgment. It is very rare on the internet to be vindicated quickly enough to effectively rub it in the other person’s face.
Hmmmm why would the police claim Venus Williams was at fault before they had even reviewed all the evidence...hmmm I wonder.
But they didn’t enter it lawfully. In most states, after a light changes green, the intersection has to be clear of traffic before it can be legally entered.
So why was there a rush to say she was at fault?
Came here to say exactly this. When I go to a bar exclusively to drink, you’re getting $1 a beer, 75 cents if I’m feeling cheap and drinking a bunch. That goes for if I’m buying $8 pints (technically a crappy tip) or $2 specials (technically an AMAZING tip). I know 15-20% is supposed to be standard, but muhfugger all…
I have no idea. This is one of a million reasons we need to get rid of tipping, pay servers more, and roll everything into slightly more expensive food.
Yeah, he actually meant to tip $12.87, and only tipped the extra $1.10 because he’s bad at match.
Hell no! If I am picking up, no tip for you. I did all the heavy lifting. I pay $10-$15 for a pizza, that owner is making $7-$10 on me. If he pays his staff so shitty that they need tip money from a pick up then it’s time for them to find a new employer. End of story.
I had a college buddy who could do algebra in a blackout. Maybe just do the math on how many drinks you had?
I always calculate the tip to come up with a whole dollar total, so I can tell if I’m OK to drive. Can’t do the math - can’t turn the key.
