It wasn’t as campy during the Doherty years, it had a more serious family with a magical mission attitude but once she left I agree it got as campy as Frisco Jones, Victoria Lord and Erica Kane on a Wednesday.

What’s wrong with wanting to make things prettier?

Haha! I saw your reply in my notifications and turned red because I was having a...well...”interesting” convo elsewhere, and it all felt like a sitcom moment.

Everyone who’s ever received a blowjob while standing up and dressed knows you pull your underwear down all the way, you don’t just bring your junk up over the elastic band.

Oh MY FUCKING G@&!!!!! I just primal screamed in my house.

Now playing

a true fact is that American Girl is one of the best songs ever written, I’m going to listen to it and cry now

I love En Vogue. I feel like the styles were quite different- En Vogue were more sophisticated and yes, possessed more raw talent. Spice Girls were more of a guilty pleasure- loud and silly pop songs. They also got bonus points for being British.

That is golden! What was the row over? I’ve had some spectacular encounters with high profile musicians, especially during my time as a DJ at an assortment of clubs in Australia and the UK (London and Manchester).

This too! I got a lot of ‘Oi! Scary’ at that time it was beyond annoying.. yes am brown with curly hair and what? Had a row wit Mel B in a club in Manchester circa 2001/2...

Yeah.. I was 21 when this came out and have never seen it bar the odd clip or gif.. some ok songs but nothing compared to some good ish that was overlooked..

Because they weren’t silly white women singing about silly white women nonsense. And with less of a rabid pre-teen/teenage white girl fan base. I mean, just look at the token Black girl in the group. She was the one they labelled as “scary”, most likely because of the Sassy Black Girl trope. Fuck that noise.

Pretty sure En Vogue had a movie...

Clearly, public presentations are not part of your regular repertoire, because in a pantsuit, you NEVER wear flats unless you’re pretty tall. The proportions get janky, at least for people like me that are above average height but still manage to have short, stocky legs. The 3.5 inchers I normally wear don’t work when

...and GET OFF MY LAWN!!

“ Just look at this quote from Sarah Jessica Park...”

You would think so, but I worked at a major bank with a very ambitious 28-year-old guy who “wasn’t gay” who was obsessed with them. He’s now a senior VP and I hope that he doesn’t have to pretend to be straight any more.

Do you remember when they were on the cover of Vogue? That’s when I was like “What?”

I don’t know. I was in my 20s and heavy into hardcore and punk when this came out, but I love this movie. It’s so ridiculous.

Yep. I was 9 when the movie was released (and I can’t remember if I ever saw it), but I LOOOOVED the Spice Girls. Just like I LOOOOOVED N*Sync, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, 98 Degrees, and the little-known Irish girl band, B*witched. I didn’t like Christina Aguilera after her first album and

Heh.
