You got a pet. You got a responsibility. If your dog is lost, you don’t look for an hour then call it quits; you get your ass out there and you find that fucking dog!

This story is so, so sad to me.

Some important subtext about this article that I feel is being missed:

Squish is the only way they can combat power creep. Without squish the numbers would become incomprehensible.

From a raid perspective it gets hard to read at some points, especially if you’ve got floating combat text. There’s something to be said that simple numbers help you get a sense of how the fight is going and how you’re performing.

Just relase a patch to enable them to be unlocked through single-player campaign.

Under the gun raises, 1 call, and an all all-in ahead of you? You are guaranteed to be playing against a higher pair. You should absolutely fold in this scenario without hesitation, and that is before considering it’s an all-in call with his chip stack.

Zhu’s kings are both the same suits as Manion’s aces, so he can’t win with a flush, unlike Labat.

Possible club flush

And what do they all have in common? They have better internet than I do.

Screw em right? let them take their ball and run since they weren’t letting people touch the ball to begin with.

It is just E-peen crap to be like well I have this game here and you can’t even download it online elitism crap.

It does seem like some of the value for these collectors is predicated on the limited access the general public has rather than the actual games themselves. It’s their prerogative, no doubt, but it does feel weird.

I have a mental imagine of Frank Cifaldi choking on his own bile while typing out that it’s not actually shitty to hoard lost games and prevent them from being publicly available. I’m familiar with his work in game preservation and there’s no way he actually believes that.

I don’t understand why access to playing the game is valued more by these collectors than actually physically owning something rare

Ultimately, this just makes Blue Hole look pathetic.

From the article: Nichols was not so naive as to put his banana on Twitch sans protection. There was a language filter in place, but the GGX gang figured out how to trick it.

Two things:

Common photography/camera technique. Like how every night scene in every move looks like it just rained.

Well.....it’s probably just the art style playing tricks on you. Every character in Disgaea is pretty much in chibi style and the only one that’s legit a child that needs to wear more clothes is the girl at the top of the cover.
