Ho Duck was Gerber's cheap (and already outdated at the time) ripoff of the R. Crumb comic style, which I admit worked as worthy, dark social satire on a basic level at times, but was otherwise just annoying. The lame movie (at the time) was the final nail in Howard's coffin.
