Most insurance policies have a clause stating they will not pay out in the event the vehicle is used for a crime, and deliberately running someone off the road definitely sounds like a crime.  I wouldn’t be surprised if all the insurances involved refused to pay out.

In this case, yes, the Turo insurance should cover this, IMHO (but I would not be surprised if they worm their way out of it). The insured is the owner of the truck, they are in the business of renting them, and it’s not like you can vet who is going to decide to be a vigilante with your truck. So Turo should pay out…

I’ve been using the Ventus line from Hankook for about 10 years now, and I’ve been VERY happy with them. I think I’ve had 3 sets so far across 2 cars. My newer Mazda’s OEM set is ready for a swap (terrible Yokohamas), and I’ll definitely be going with the Hankooks again.
