I used to be loyal to Nissan/Infiniti because they offered solidly build cars on the cheap (used, of course) but they had good/more power relative to Toyota and Honda without sacrificing reliability. Now, it’s a toss up. I’m thoroughly enjoying my G30 540i and I’ve considered parking an X5 40i next to it but my old

2003 M45

It’s too early. I read that as “New Mexico,” and made that sentence REALLY confusing.

Yes, to all of that. Shame, really.

Low res car without wheel skirts.

well-heeled*

As the owner of both a ‘81 C10 LWB and a ‘87 C(R)10 Suburban, I couldn’t agree with you more.

I HATE the stupid grille(s) on the G80 M3.
I would buy a G80 M3.

Completely understandable and those are some nice tuned numbers. I think the main thing for me would be the sound. If I’m buying a roadster, I want to hear the engine. While I don’t dislike the engine the 4-cylinder makes, I’d much rather hear the sound from the I6. I may be a bit biased though, the howl that comes

Oh, I know. It still sucks though. The I6 is a gem of a power train.

I had a 5MT OBXT for a while. Great car! Kinda just realized that my garage at the time kinda looked like the Island of Misfit Toys with a Squarebody, G35 with the VQ35HR (‘07-’08 only), 2003 M45, and the Outback. I still have 1/2 of those.

If it’d had the I6 from the other 43s, they’d have my attention but....a 4-cylinder.....nah.

Starred for Suburban. I’ve loved mine. They’ve proven themselves unbeatable in just about any situation.

I do have a much more modern car (B58 power baby!!!) but this one handles my, admittedly limited, daily duties juuuuust fine. It costs laughably little to service and maintain and even the gas mileage is more than decent.

Ooooo, some good choices here. I’m going to say the DeLorean-aping “Deluxo” complete with homing missles and hover/flight capabilities or the amphibious DeTomaso/Maserati/all other 70s Italian car-looking “Toreador” with homing missles

Reminds me of the Maybach Exelero but as a convertible.

Yes! Came here to see this posted! Thank you!

Hmm...not one mention of the Ioniq 6?

To be fair, they do have their share of quality issues here and there but are pretty solid overall. Ah, good choice on the new vehicle. I am very surprised they don’t offer a hybrid Crosstrek yet.

I had a 2.0L Crosstrek manual while my STI was in for service. While it certainly wasn’t for me, I could see the appeal. With this one having (slightly) more power and a better interior, I suspect this will continue to sell like crazy. I don’t like this “new” Subaru but they know their customers and they know them
