$10K?! Not even close.

Yeah, so Carmax’s slowdown is evident. I live next to what must be one of the larger CarMax locations in the region (Fort Worth, Tx) and that lot is PACKED. They’ve even started parking cars in the Walmart lot as overflow. I’ve never seen that in the history of that Carmax, usually it’s just a revolving door of sales.…
The car itself isn’t meant to be the money maker. The success or failure of this car determines the future of the brand as a whole. If it tanks, GM is out a relatively minor sum of cash, seeing as it was developed using a current platform. If it succeeds, that gives GM/Cadillac more premium credibility, and…
If it’s not an EV version of the newest ICE Mustang, just don’t even bother.
The button is programmable to an auxiliary device/function.
It’s going to become a through-the-road hybrid or whatever they’re called nowadays where the wheels NOT connected to the ICE are electrically powered.
Uhhh, since all the other ones I would’ve mentioned are taken, and I say this even as someone that prefers Mercedes to BMW, it’s the N63. First production “hot-vee” engine and capable of big power with minimal modifications. Yes, they have their issues, but there’s no denying what they’re capable of.

Agreed.
i’m a firm believer in the adage: “GM cars run like shit longer that most cars run at all.”
I never said that. I said it’d be more cool if they were using the extra parts to do actual off-roading. I daily drive a Suburban and DO NOT haul or tow things with any considerable frequency. I have my reasons.
More cool. Moooooore cool. As in, I think this is cool but it could stand to be even cooler, in my opinion
It’d be more cool if more of them were actually putting those off-road goodies to use instead of just sitting in the Starbucks lines or bumping the parking barriers at Whole Foods.
Thanks!
I’m sure a quick OTA update will add regen braking/one-pedal driving if Porsche decides to change its mind.
I LOVE the RS6 but I don’t think that’s fooling anyone with 21" wheels, giant brakes, quad exhaust, and those fender flares/bumpers.
