I want a LHD car sometime in the near future (come on, Stagea!) but I still don’t know about shifting with my left hand.

This is great news! I looooove Caterhams but doesn’t really care for the sounds the engines that power them tend to make - too tinny and buzzy. Fortunately, the car is small and light, so it doesn’t need some massive battery pack. A range of, what, an actual 100mi, should be more than sufficient.
Good point.
Meh. When you submit an answer to a survey, it becomes other peoples’ business.
Agreed. It’s the strangest thing, IMO.
Here in DFW, this is happening NOW. Right now.
Rolf wants to see a Ralliart Mirage hatch. Do it and do it now!
This sounds blindingly stupid to Rolf. Why not just wait? How can so many people “need” cars?!
I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable with how much I like the look of this thing. Maybe it’s because it just looks like a big GTI?
“I’m old, I’m tired, I’m over-insured, and I’m driving a piece of shit hoopty*. Choose wisely, young padawan.”’
EDIT: Some of the shit Waze wants me to do at times makes me laugh.
Gotta love a (relatively) cheap and easy fix
It’s VERY nice but...nah. This just isn’t a $12.5K car. Maybe you can get Toyota to buy it back as a restore-able museum piece.
It’s definitely a thing, I’ll give you that. The open-air toilet is bad enough but I can’t get past 2-stroke diesel and 4-speed manual. Unless you’re living the RV life in the city or suburbs, I’m not really sure where else you could feasibly take this thing.
+1 for the EV swap, like someone else said. This is begging…

Ah, but just because the crash happened by his house doesn’t mean he immediately crashed after he left. I grew up on a longish cul-de-sac where there was more than enough room to get up to, say, 60MPH, by the time you got to my house in the middle. Actually had the idiot kid that lives at the other end do that once,…
Imagine that — earnestly thinking an Oldsmobile Alero is slick.
Definitely not the ugliest car on CL, but I get ya.
