Agreed 100%
I mean, you’re probably correct that it would do better with better tires but, who wants to have to buy tires as soon as they purchase their brand new vehicle.
Unfortunately, the market is the market, ridiculous or not. I bought my Suburban this time last year for $3200. A year later, I’m turning down offers of triple that. I didn’t buy mine as an investment, so I’m not interested, but it’s crazy to think about
268hp from a 1.6 liter 3 cylinder is freaking amazing! Holy hell imagine a time traveler from the 70s seeing that next to their 140hp 5 liter v8.
As others have said, it depends on the vehicle.
Decent for the market Price
LOL! That’s awesome! Reminds me of the trip from NY to TX when my parents got out of the military back in ‘91. My sister and I rode in the bed of my dad’s ‘88 Ranger LWB in a pair of Nissan Pulsar bucket seats that he’d bolted in the back. The bed was covered by an aluminum topper and every time it rained, we’d fall…
Thank you!
YES! I’ve been eyeballing one of these for years. I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with it as I edge ever closer to pulling the trigger on one for myself.
Besides, how do you pronounce gigabyte, gift, gibbon, gill, give, or girl. Or gap, gate, galaxy, garden, geyser, gulf, gorilla, goat, gold, gown, guest, guitar, gull, or guppy
Probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but I’d recommend a 3rd gen Nissan Altima/6th gen Nissan Maxima. Shared the engine with the contemporary 350Z (albeit turned sideways), available with a manual, plenty of space, safe, reliable, and I would regularly average ~28mpg. You could probably buy two with that budget…
Made my morning, thank you!
Aaaaannnnd 2020 continues to 2020.
...made out of solid Unobtainium.
What dead-end transportation tech do you wish got the funding?
OK, I like that.
