“Ayuck! We’s not white supremacists, jus white heritagists!”
Another example of normalizing their behavior. It’s so telling to me to see folks come out and try to convince people that racists are “just defending their heritage” or “just trying to save a statue” or “maybe its road rage, let’s not rush to judgement”.
What part of “White Nationalists” don’t you understand? This isn’t about a statue. It was NEVER ABOUT A STATUE.
When a bunch of white supremacists show up wearing swastikas, t-shirts with quotes by Adolf Hitler, throwing sieg heil salutes and chanting slogans like “blood & soil,” it doesn’t make them any less racist to say “oh, they were just there to defend a statue of a slaveholding traitor.”
There’s video elsewhere of these right-wing marchers chanting “blood and soil” as they march. That’s a well-known Nazi slogan. So, no, these people are not simply a bunch of misguided Civil War reenactors with a sketchy sense of history and of the “Lost Cause.”
Does that automatically make all of them racists?
Are you that obtuse or do you just think the rest of us are? Anyone joining with Nazis and the KKK to protest the removal of a statue is not just protesting the removal of a historical statue. They’re racists protesting the removal of a historical statue because they’re racists. The statue they’re protecting is a…
And that difference of opinion is something we can discuss. With arguments. I welcome a different opinion (I’m wrong quite often), as long as it’s backed up by arguments...
Given a good portion of them are saying racist things, including actual WWII era Nazi slogans, I’d say the ones who are “protectin muh herituge” might be in the wrong crowd.
The alt-right protestors were protesting the removal of a statue of a segregationist and, many would say, traitor. Does that automatically make all of them racists? Maybe not all of them, but it’s a rather questionable cause they’re supporting.
Here’s another (not mine) photo of the arm. The man’s a G for doing this. If he comes back, and has even a quarter the success of Lauda then he’s a legend.
#3 on this list, Les Paul, had his wrist fixed in a certain position so that he could keep his whole arm, after an accident.

If the Warsaw Ghetto and Robert Kubica can teach us anything, it’s that you can’t stop Poles from being armed.
I guess his mistake was knocking over Hulkenberg’s sign instead of Palmer’s.
Just imagine the media frenzy if he had knocked over Palmer’s sign...
Too bad it’s almost certainly Palmer who will get the boot if Renault takes on Kubica.
“knocking a sign with Renault driver Nico Hulkenberg’s name and face from where it was hanging above the garage door.”
