Apparently Subaru had to do something with the extras from no longer producing EJ255s, and a lower than expected demand for STIs.

"only 13,300 miles later, the SUV needed a brand-new engine, which was replaced under warranty." Had the engine held out, that 9 speed tranny would have shit the bed.
Agreed - not saying it's right, but it's not uncommon. Part of me really wants a CB radio in my Jeep so I can listen in on the truckers...
Indeed. If I decide to drive like a race car, then I commit. I will not get rear ended being an aggressive driver... I may hit something in front of me, but I don't use the coward pedal for sure.
And you're probably right, but these are professional drivers. We all see it; If you can't make your pass before someone passes you, you don't make that pass plain and simple. Something has to give.
It's pretty clear the Saturn driver, despite the reckless initial pass, was timid. Scared about closing on the truck in the right lane, he stupidly braked to reduce speed, rather than just expedite his move into the left lane. That guy needs to be beaten with a switch.
This was in CT and they seem to have an uncanny love for left-side exits there, so he could've been approaching his exit as well.
I promise you, the trucker didn't have a legitimate reason to be in the left lane.
The semi didn't brake because he was talking on the phone, if you listen to the audio he is hanging up after the crash. The red car put on their brakes so the semi would crash into the black car.
How long will cheap oil last and do you think it'll really have an impact on electric car sales?
Cheap gas will probably affect Prius sales, but even Elon Musk said they don't expect much if any impact on Tesla sales. People don't buy a Tesla to save money on their commute. People who can afford a Tesla don't much care about gas prices.
The 3000GT VR-4 and the Stealth RT-tt are both functional. they are ducted to the rear brakes. Well they're ducted into the inner wheel arch anyways. I'm not sure about the lesser trim models but I think they are as well.
Automakers are starting to get it. We don't want to deal with clunky interfaces and shoddy graphics. If we want to…
Knowing how to drive a car doesn't keep people from doing this kind of thing. A lady at my college hit the gas instead of the brake in her car, when through multiple stop signs in the parking lot, through a narrow passage beside a building, threaded through car-sized landscape boulders, crossed an entire quadrangle,…
I think it's far worse with bikes than cars though. I know a lot of people that own bikes and ride all the time that don't have their motorcycle endorsement on their license. Several of them are good riders too, just never paid the money to prove to the DMV they knew how to ride.
I hope that this is what Kimi and Seb will be doing with Ferrari in 2015. Pop the champagne bottle for the Scuderia is back!
No. The Spider might eat the headlamps though since spiders (which are arachnids, not insects) eat insects (among other things).
Meh, I don't see its width as the real issue. You'll get more headaches from the ~10° approach angle and low ground clearance. And the difficulty getting in and out of it (which is what made me decline the coupé – hoping the Spider will be better, so I can get one).
