@Lacara: Those sound like key mappings that could easy be changed to the search button without any loss of functionality?

@Ryan: The branching alternate universes is an actual multiverse theory... The extreme proximity obliteration bit sounds like classic Fringe though if it is from Fringe they must have only mentioned it once or twice as I watch the show and don't remember it.

@jelte12345: Right I'll start typing capital letters and by the time I get through 3 or 4 of them with the standard shift key I'll start to think hey... I could be using caps lock. By the time I could act on the thought I'm through at least another 5 or so letters and hardly ever still typing capitals. And in the off

@HideyoshiJP: That's true. I'm sure even people who write SQL for a living wouldn't buy a computer without a caps lock key. At the same time I'll bet the majority of the consumer market in 2010 would make better use of a search button than caps lock. I may be wrong but from my own history with computers (and I'm quite

@Lacara: Haha I went through a similar thought process and also considered how I tend to skip caps lock for almost anything less than 3 or 4 letters and how the last (10) times I can remember using the caps lock key it was Steam's fault (you call of duty on steamers know what I mean).

@dyowell: Woot woot you're even more diverse then me. I'm a slave to my iPhone - even tried going Evo in that lovely stopgap where the Evo was out but the iPhone 4 wasn't. Android just isn't for me. I have my fingers crossed to get into the Chrome OS dev program.

@MegaShark: Better sound quality too...

@dyowell: I recently supplemented the Windows 7 computer I built a little over a year ago with the new 11" MacBook Air and I couldn't be happier. Why not live in harmony?

@Metro Charts. VP of Vice: The reason behind this is much more the fact that the majority of viruses are aimed at Windows simply because Windows has the biggest share of the market by a long shot. Security Essentials is just another example of Microsoft working towards a more secure OS. It, in essence, gives Microsoft

@unknownsock: A quick Google search leads me to believe you're talking about the 100+ security fixes in Mac OS X 10.6.5. Perhaps you're not aware that Windows 7 Service Pack 1 was also release earlier this year (July 6th).

@Anticrawl: My friend it seems you are confused. Granted, the Google Street View car did actually drive onto their private driveway before snapping a picture so the trespassing claim is valid. Valid or not, the trespassing claim was originally dismissed because the Borings did not "allege any facts sufficient to

@BratPAQ: It's the kind of thing that gets put on a resume as "won case against Google" instead of "won $1 in retarded case against Google".

@Kafka: Yeah I was asking for that one.

@Badlands99: Hands down the funnest way to learn.

@jetRink: Awesome - thank you.

@balloondoggle: I vaguely remember that as well but this gif has been modified. I mean - the non enlarged version is showing the squares as a jumbled mess in the bottom right corner of a picture of the building flashing and disappearing. NoScript has revealed the truth.
