@bigdukem69: Thanks for the heads up. Looks like Giz cut it off because it was too long.

Or maybe it wasn't.

@jimbob: Right. Soul*.

@snownpaint1: "But this anonymous shadowy man is the first human being to ever have his picture taken. There is also the very faint image of the bootblack bent over his work."

My god I hate this man.

@Hadaken: Awesome explanation - thanks.

Pretty damn awesome...

@Mohammed Arabiat: That might be worth mentioning in corrections as the article gives no indication such a thing is possible...

@notdjperez: True I wasn't able to find very good examples but I would amend your This article.

@Mohammed Arabiat: Do you know how WP7 manages the application when the phone is locked? I saw something about tombstoning in another comment but I don't really care enough to look into it myself.

@notdjperez: I have no doubt lack of multitasking was criticized on the iPhone. The fact of the matter is every major smartphone OS now supports multitasking in some way or another so there is no way this problem could be considered minor.

@Clancycoop: From what I gather it is a combination of the two. Apps take time to load regardless of flash memory and a decent processor. What the Windows Phone seems to be doing is, upon locking the screen, the running application is terminated. If you then unlock the screen the app has to be loaded back into memory

@EnochLight: That's definitely not the same thing. A little similar I guess but you might want to re-read the post and watch the video again if you think this is the same thing.

@Joel Johnson: Good man responding to even the stupidest of posts.
