“First of all, Mr. Hanks, welcome.”
“Please, call me Tom.”
“Alright, Tom.  My first question is: what gives you the right?”

I’d wager I’ve been directly involved in more anti-police state action and am more read on the subject than most folks in this commentariat. My family has been victim to police brutality and continue to struggle under some incredibly unjust criminal laws of this nation.

Fuck this shit.

Except the part about the Aurora shooter being inspired by the Joker was pure media speculation in the same of a tragedy people wanted to understand and so it would become the accepted narrative that has been disproven. He picked a high traffic screening and dressed the part, a psrt that wouldn’t look too suspicious

I BELIEVE IN THE FREE MARKET UNLESS IT MILDLY INCONVENIENCES ME! I WANT AN OPEN AND FAIR MARKET BUT ALSO THINK GAMES NOT BEING ON STEAM IS A WAR CRIME PUNISHABLE UNDER THE GENEVA CONVENTION!

So, let me get my lightskint thoughts in order here. Barack is half black, and half white, yet is considered the first black president—and not one eyelash was batted. He chose to round up, as it were. As is his prerogative.

Anyone who doesn’t think The Rock should be able to play a role in a movie that HE HIMSELF is Producing should take their opinion...

I’m ambivalent about this. If our punishments are not sufficient in allowing someone full entry back into society then we need to change them. If this man had been a repeat offender or done something suspicious then I get it. But her saying because of his past crime, which he’s been punished for, his criminal record

I’d like to look at this from both a logical and an emotional perspective, as both have valid points:

Hi, Filip, how’s the job search going?

I disagree. Filip called out Jason & Kotaku specifically. I feel like they’re obligated to respond to Filip’s arrogance and egotistic attitude.

If you look at the report, the gap between how male reviewers write about male and female directors is WAY SMALLER than the gap between how female reviews write about male and female directors.

Sure they’re assholes to the people they scam but these “jobs” are in really poor countries where they don’t have the luxury to question their jobs. Morality is nice and easy to follow when you’re not starving, shitting in a hole in the ground and sleeping on dirt and rocks at the end of the day.
