Oh god the role model argument....lets not get into that because it doesn't even have to do with my primary point. My point is people at ESPN, Deadspin and other places have been very public about criticizing the NFL but for some reason the same level of anger is not directed at prosecutor in the criminal case against

Yeah, I think that's pretty stupid. We should rely on the government to punish people who commit criminal acts of violence not private organizations who's only goal is to turn a profit. The NFL makes money when Ray Rice is on the field so why should they be trusted to dole out proper punishment.

I just don't understand all this animosity directed at the NFL for some reason. It's the job of the law to punish Ray Rice for a crime he committed not commissioner Goodell. If you feel Rice hasn't been punished severally enough get mad at the Atlantic City court system not his employer.

My reaction is about the reaction to his reaction not the story itself.

But this was not his primary reaction they've been talking about this story for days months if you count from the time it first broke and this is the first and only time he's brought it up.

"there is absolutely nothing a woman can say that warrants a man assaulting her"

My original comment was about how we can't have a civil conversation about this without being lumped in with a guy who beats women and as I try to tackle the

I don't think "what did she do" should be anyone's first reaction. But here's the thing Ray Rice is a pro-athlete if I personally as full grown man ever found myself in an argument with him their are just somethings I wouldn't say because he's a lot bigger and stronger then me an could easily kill me if things got

Solange Knowles attacks Jay-Z in an elevator the entire internet spends a week speculating what he did to provoke her. Ray Rice attacks his wife in an elevator one person suggests that she may have provoked him and the entire internet pounces.

Criticize if you want but this angle was red hot on Monday although not as successful on the PPV but nothing on that show really worked. The WWE does these USA vs "Random Country" story lines because they almost always work going all the way back to the 60's. It was a USA vs Canada fued that lit the match for the

Well, the script from a month was just left laying around by somebody in production and someone who worked at the arena took pictures and uploaded them, not something you can really prevent considering the amount of people who need scripts and the fact that WWE is a traveling production. This leak is common when they

"Are you saying that the league is willing to promote racism if their fans are racist enough to reward that?"

"NBA wants to set an example, but reacting to racism according to the races involved doesn't reflect an intention to diminish or eliminate racism."

Yes he got the most strict punishment because race in the league is the most hot button issue, the fucking NBA is 80% black. If he owned the LA Kings and said the same exact things I doubt he would've been pushed out in this way because the comments would have way less of an effect on the players and the fan base

If you're in a business partnership with 29 other business men and you say or do something private or not to negatively effect that business partnership, you should expect the other 29 business men to try to force you out of that partnership. That's all that really happened here.

Remove the race angle from it and look at it like this. The NBA is a business and at the end of the day money is what matters to the league and the other 29 owners. Sterling's comments were private but now they're public and they have a negative effect on business so his business partners(the other 29 owners) are

First off saying that he was being lead is just silly, he said what he said nobody tricked him or took him out of context. Yes it was a private conversation but the NBA is a private organization and he is, as an owner, is business partners with the other 29 owner and what he said fucks with their business so of

Free speech protects you from consequences from the government for the things you say the NBA is a private organization. Further more Silver is a employee of the owners his job is to act in the best interest of the league and it's in the leagues best interest to separate themselves from this incident as quickly as
