I went to high school in LA. It was an interesting mix. I attended a performing arts magnet, and there was a humanities magnet as well. On one side of the school, there were very expensive houses. On the other? Decidedly less so. There was a real economic mix.

HOWEVER, the pet store by my job was having an adoption fair, so I walked over and spent about 15 minutes snuggling with a Shepard-boxer puppy. It helped. No pics, just wanted to appreciate the pets!
