First, where is the subject? As it stands, the subject in the first independent clause of this compound sentence is “Words.” Now let’s find the verb, or the action word. The verb is “attributed.”

And never again can an article be written about politics or world affairs without calling out Hitler.  Why are journalists ignoring all of Hitler’s bad acts when they write about, say, the Supreme Court’s rulings on Obamacare?
