It actually lended the performance more authenticity, considering how the half time shows always seem so pre-packaged and produced. I’m sure she didn’t want it preserved for posterity, however.
Move fast and blow up stuff
The crowd was just beta-testing an AI firework. New tech company called BangMo is applying AI technology to things that go bang. Going to be huge and we want to encourage innovation, right? Still a few kinks to work out, but that’s the price you pay for innovation.
Personally I’m a skeptic of the self driving projects but I think its a little premature to hint this was due to local animosity towards Waymo. From the description of the event it comes across more like general rioting.
Sure - but that’s why a reasonable, responsible, company will take measured steps and not market their CyberTruck as the ultimate do anything, go anywhere, conquer everything uber-vehicle. As soon as I saw the headline I thought, “I’ll bet it’s the Fifth Circuit again.” They’ll hold this up a while, then make some kind of gold-fringe-on-the-flag decision and then a year later the Supreme Court goes, “you guys are nuts, but we invented another reason to kill it.”
The best part about this: Dealers are clearly so focused on being able to maximize their revenue at the expense of customers that they really don’t care how this looks.
Even funnier with the last line:
The irony of Jalopnik pointing out Porsche’s spelling error is delicious.
I recently built the Lego Land Rover, too. It’s very relaxing to build models, regardless of age.
