I hate that our elections are now perpetual; there is no off-season in politics.

That said, I now have to give exactly 0% of my attention to the 2024 senatorial race, because I’m going to vote for Porter, no matter who else runs.

This underscores the fact that Republicans majority is so slim that with retirements, resignations, deaths, and even someone like Santos ending up in jail that it’s entirely possible we could have Speaker Jeffries at some point in the next two years. 

Just like “innocent Germans” employed at Auschwitz, Dachau and Ravensbruck, those officers were just following orders, like any good little Faux News GOP followers would do.

Meanwhile, Democrat Katie Porter silently throws some vicious shade.
