Yeah, safety is where this breaks down for me. Imagine how an accident would go if all the bits could be easily removed.  Imagine how variable the weight of a car could be depending on configuration.  How would you get that insured?  It'd be a mess.

All we can do is hope enough people get vaccinated and enough anti-mask troglodytes die from covid before spreading it too much.  They’re going to get it, they’re going to spread it.  The best we can hope for is minimal spread.
