Risk aversion. We’re all a little more or less comfortable with risk. My wife will leave anything to the last minute and it drives me nuts.

I remember reading something years ago that said going for 2 was actually the safe decision, based on statistics. At the time nfl teams were making 2pt conversions greater than 50% of the time. Not sure if that’s still the case.

People these days are too reliant on GPS. In my day we made our way using visible landmarks, uphill both ways, and we liked it just fine!
