After watching that fight I legit Googled whether Ralph lost his powers because it seemed like he did.

Not only that, Flash has a multiple Wells right now. It seems like they should have some up with a specific reason that THIS duo was special. “When I came through the cracks between worlds I must have interacted with a blah blah blah plot device that linked my life force with my counterpart on this Earth. But those…
IMO one of the main issues with historical views of civil rights, and historical views in general, is the focus on individuals instead of movements. Montgomery, for example, had modified their civil code to have more permissive seating for African-Americans than the state, something like 50 years before Rosa refused…
Murder Board Now. Murder Board Forever!
I disagree with the author. I feel calling police on a student who does not change seats on demand is not normal.
Warren Ellis addressed this in the awesome comic series Planetary. In that comic there is a character interacting with Lovecraft, who I will not name to minimize spoilers. Lovecraft had found some alien eggs as a result of something alien and inter-dimensional. Lovecraft hypothesizes these are eggs of...well he…
Unions were well integrated by and large, by the time of the Civil Rights movement and Dr. King. Yes, like nearly all institutions, unions historically have embraced racism at one time or another.
Ok, I think this show is excellently plotted and there is real though behind just about everything.
Honestly, its pretty likely. A lot of the support the house got was the normal White House incumbents tend to lose House seats, on steroids because of anti-Trump sentiment. If she was not in the narrative there would be a lot another anti-Trump story to take her place.
Superman used the “in case of emergency the pool of people who can pick this up increases rule” as explained by Thor. He could not pick it up at the end of the story. Which actually plays well into what happened in Endgame.
So California has a law going into affect in 2020 making discrimination based on natural hair illegal. The law specifically lists afros, braids, twists and locks.
After the first time I saw a Home Alone 2 on a pirated VHS I was like, this is crap. I will use my student ID and watch a flick in Crenshaw for like $6. No one checks to see if I am still enrolled in school.
Yes please. I hate reading stories about this student or that student being kicked out of events because of their hair.
I just want to say I really liked this article. It was well done and clearly connected eras of TV. Thumbs up!
It was decided the actual nationality was unimportant, which is why the “neutral Spanish” was a choice that was made in the movie. The actual actors do not know the nationality of their characters, which is kind of funny considering the joke you mentioned.
Behind the scenes possibly fun fact: One of the key plot points wouldn’t have worked if Rian hadn’t gotten some feedback.. Rian originally wanted Ana’s character to be Cuban like the actress is. Ana and her mother’s actor are both Cuban, and the little sister’s actress is Puerto Rican by way of NYC.
As a teacher I understand the impetus to focus a child on doing work that fits “the assignment” but we should also be sparking their imagination and praising their creativity, especially at the elementary level.
Good catch!
Not a fan of these damn microtransactions. You almost never get what you want.
Intriguing....on an entirely unrelated note, any chance of future Shark Jumping Videos on Youtube? I used to love that series.
