The right to be treated equally to men in property and employment, Constitutionally, at a federal level. Since employment was the impetus for the ERA and there is still a famous pay gap, equal pay for equal work seems relevant as a right women do not possess, nationally, in the United States.

Women and men do not have the same rights, hence the push for the ERA. I am not saying quotas are good or bad, simply that they should be legal (at least on a federal level) in regards to sex.

Gender quotas should be legal as the ERA amendment famously failed, and gender equality is not a Constitutional requirement.

This country has a lot of problems and this case is one of them.
