True enough, but they are still tied to how well the company does or doesn’t do, something your average worker grunt has basically no control over. Better to be able to negotiate a pay raise that can’t be withheld from one year to the next.

The tunnel serves no purpose. It just expands auto mobile infrastructure, which we should really be tearing down, not building up. It also makes clear to me that Elon hasn’t so much as consulted a transportation planner of any kind in thinking up the idiotic idea.
