So, after some consideration, I reckon this is a grower. They've rediscovered the art of the chunky hook. Lyrics remain a mixture of opaque (best), mawkish (less good), and teenager-y (worst), but for me this band has always been about the big fat tune rather than the words anyway.

This is really Bloc Party all over, for me. Great hooks, depressed teenager lyrics. But I'm kind of cool with that too.

Hold out, FB. Those are both solid albums. In particular, "I Still Remember" and "Sunday" at the back end of AWITC are really excellent songs, IMO.
