That song was hilarious. Depending on whether you were listening to the lyrics or watching the video, it was totally unclear whether this was meant to be about Indiana or some random MD.

I'd dispute your suggestion that creating an earworm is easy, but I don't think that's key to the argument. I'm saying that there's inherent value in crafting something that a broad swathe of people will enjoy, despite the fact that "right-thinking people" don't like it. It might not be technically impressive,…
Counterpoint: Earworms are inherently awesome and effective pieces of music. Just because you're sniffy about the band, or they only had that one good tune, or it was massively overplayed, or you get sick of it, it doesn't invalidate the fact the tune itself is great.
Exactly. The UK in general had a fantastic '97, music-wise. The pure pop and dance music scenes were in particular ON FIRE:
Yeah, this is an interesting question! I suspect there still is more wildfire - Aerys planned to destroy the whole city, and Cersei only took out the Sept, so…? This for me has to be a plausible option for Jaime to finally turn on her. It would also require the game to be finally up for the Lannisters before we get to…

An "if you like that you'll like this" approach is probably best. Like Bach cantatas? Try other Bach choral music. Like a Schostokovich symphonies? Try some more (spoiler alert: 5, 7, 10, 11, 4 are the best IMO, probably in that order of approachability). Debussy? Other slushy French stuff arranged similarly (Ravel,…
Yeah, "independent" is putting it a bit strongly I guess. It all depends on whether he can sustain his control over the Vale forces, which means more manipulation.
This would definitely be a perfectly valid option. As Ramsay said back in 3.6, "if you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention". I can't see either show or books going quite this far, but a huge pyrrhic victory with the eventual winner being a lower tier candidate ruling over a devastated…
This is spot on. The only remaining viable and well-developed candidates of lordly descent that we know about are Dany, Jon, Tyrion, Littlefinger, Sansa. Dany and Jon will surely end up in trouble before the end; this is the show's MO. The other three all have promise, and probably have the basic skill set to not…

DARK
Wakey wakey rise and shine, it's on again, off again, on again, off again?
Best solo in terms of awesomeness : length -> The pair in the outro of Go To Sleep, that are literally 4 bars long each. Some of which is silent.
…and, obviously, it's twin in The Tourist.
Greenwood's solo at the end of Lucky is another Radiohead standout, where it basically just becomes a vocal line for a bit.
Now, I realise that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and we all have different tastes, and our upbringings make us what we are, etc etc. But the question of which is the best gin has one correct answer.
In my experience (Brit in US), American tonic water is /terrible/. I had to stop drinking G&Ts while out because of the constant menace of the tonic that comes out of the sparkler gun. Fever Tree is a good call. Schweppes is also passable in an emergency.
