this is one of those inner/outer self exploration movies laid against a backdrop of an interesting scifi premise that never gets explored. Somebody said Gattaca, might be a Solaris mixed in there too.

first io9 does an article on taint and then it shows up in a movie. a word with meaning that less than 1% of the world's population knows ANYTHING about in this way. Coincidence? I think not!!!! io9 is secretly part-timing at GQ and Ralph magazine!!!!!!!!!
