VQ hate is overrated (considering they actually sound really good from the factory). I’d argue the pentstar (especially with an exhaust) and the 4.0L from the pre-facelift s197 sound and perform far worse

nice mileage but imo the spec sucks, I prefer the coupe and there were better interior color options than the sh*tty cream. Base cream interiors on bmw/audi/benz will always be an automatic pass for me

Kinda dumb to end your longest running model just because rules are changing. Just make a golf ev lol. It's not like there's some iconic engine characteristic that's synonymous with the model like the "5.0" or all 911's having a flat 6.

TDU 2 is a weird one. Im a huge vq fan. But I almost forgot how bad the gas mileage was on these things. I have a full bolt on n54 (335i) making around 440 wheel and I get like 21 mog average. On my stock g35 I get like 16 lol
