Hmm? Just because it's called radiation does not imply that it is dangerous. It's the ionizing kind that's dangerous, not the non-ionizing kind (the ones that cell phone towers use).

Blech, putting all that effort into making the ring, and putting shiny carbon on display with it? I still don't see how "diamonds are forever" no matter how much De Beers tries to hammer it into us.

@XSoph: Haha, they can't even afford power out there, much less new houses.

So they're classifying botox as a virus now?

I was *this* close to buying an SSD for my most recent computer build, but I just can't justify $200 on a $900 computer.

@huatnee: SSD's are orders of magnitude faster. They are essentially a bunch flash memory modules (likes the ones in the sd card), but in RAID.

@worsethannormal: But when the writes fail, you can still read them. Not too big of a deal, especially since 10,000 writes (the absolute minimum I have seen from anywhere) would take many, many years to accumulate (especially with wear leveling).

While I don't entirely agree with Assange's methods, he does have the balls to stick up for what he stands for, which is less than I can say for myself in tough situations.

That's great, now GET IT TO LINUX. It can't be far away, but the only proof is rumors.

The only thing cursive is useful for is signing your name and the SATs. That's the hardest part of the test.

And once again, a pseudo-intellectual has been smote in to the ground.

I don't quite get how stock prices determine the success of a company. A majority of stock trades these days are done by computers anyways. BPs stock prices were holding mighty fine until the spill- it didn't mean they suddenly changed what they did every day, only the perception changed.

Or... you could just install linux and get a better-than-osx experience with the same cost as this GUI.

I went AMD/ATI when I built the computer I'm using now, but an Intel SSD would make me complete, especially if it can max out my SATA 6gbps.

These are obviously fake. There's no blood at all on them.

What part of nonviolent do some of these commentors not understand? It will free up jails for the ones that need to be stuck there for a long, long time.

@Lupison: I don't see how paying music company execs would help much..

What if Google just delays this in court until the patents run out? Sure, they'd have to pay retroactive fees, but no licensing costs..

What the hell? Hunting and gathering was entirely less efficient than farming. That's the reason we started farming..
