This answer this time is not MX5 it is Fiat 124 Abarth. Same reliability, lower numbers on the road and there is a good chance FCA kill it off in the US. Its a blast to drive and on those CA roads it would be awsome.

The towing is a real deal breaker here. The photo shows an Airstream Serenity that clocks in at 4700lbs. Add some luggage and some kids and you are over the capacity. Put a bigger engine in it and you could corner a whole towing market.

My wife was driving a SW1 when I met her and the AC was always switched off going uphill.

Best car movie ever. Grand Prix with James Garner.

My uncle was a Citron nut and had the Pallus, I think it was a CX. I always thought those dials were weird. Never could get used to sitting in the passenger seat and not being able to look over and read the gauges.

SO SO SO True. I used to rent convertibles in San Francisco when I lived there. They used to have a nice Mustang that ran well. It was out one weekend and they gave me the Sebring. What a POS!

My first bike was a SV650, vs my Buddy with his Ninja 600. Big difference in bike. He scared himself off his! My SV, I have it still have it 16 years later. Enough to learn, keep it under 3K and you will not get yourself into trouble, but have fun with. Get better and get it up there and that bike can sing.

Nooo00, my kid has a Hockey game that night. I’m 15 mins away and I bought a membership to the track for me and my son. Now any time I go to the mall, I have a quick race.

I bought a Ford Freestar in 2007 and by 2011 it had lost 3rd gear on the trans. I tow a pop up a few times a year. It was $3.5K repair on a car that was worth barely $4K at that point. So I traded it for an Odyssey.
