Wow. Really coincidental timing on this article David. I almost threw down on a ‘74 J-10 in WV on eBay this past weekend. Kind of glad I didn’t having read this.

Ya. Was just quoted $745 for a dent in the passenger-side rear quarter panel of my ‘96 XJ.  Can’t wait to get a quote to properly repair the drivers-side door that fell off and I had spot-welded a few years back.

My sister-in-law’s father races Neons in some SCCA circuit up around NYC. He has an older one all tricked out. Can’t remember the details, but there’s something inherently good about them for racing that most other cars can’t match. Kind of like old Pintos.

A new capable Jeepster would be cool. I always thought Jeep could fill a niche in rally-cross if they wanted to. The old Compass had a rally trim, but it was just an appearance package. I’d buy something w/ AWD and a stick that could go toe-to-toe with the current rally-cross mainstays (WRX, Escort, etc).

Welcome Terrell. What your outlining is music to my ears. I noticed some of your posts and at first, thought maybe Tyler was back. Take that as a compliment! Anyway, looking forward to your take on current events, especially with regard to how Russia/US/Ukraine intersect.
