At the very least from a PR stand point I don’t think it is wise for Activision to be quite on this. It is one thing for them to do things silently and have people what the heck is going on and another to do things opening and say we made mistakes, here is why we are walking back and here is what we are doing going

Surprised Cowboy Bebop isn’t on this list or Carole and Tuesday.

I was surprised to see this article but not disappointed and I found the viewpoints given here interesting. Part of that though is I serve on Tech Team at my local church and we were streaming long before the pandemic hit so in that regard when the stay at home mandates were laid down here in Michigan we at least were

I never got into the series much and my only interaction with it is the brief time I played the Android game. Out of curiosity what are your thoughts on that if any?

There are a lot of games that have excellent soundtracks and one that consistently comes to mind is Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. Beyond the Bounds is a great piece from it.

Monster is one of my all time favorite anime series and I think it is certainly worth checking out if one has patience for the pacing. It is a shame it never got a full DVD release in the US because I would buy it happily (apparently only 15 were released in a box set but no more were released due to poor sales). There

I wanted to like the Steam Controller but I could never really get it to work properly fiddling it for a couple days after getting it. Perhaps if I spent more time tweaking the drivers or settings it might work which I don’t mind doing actually when I have the time.

I feel like there is a history with Rockstart of releasing janky PC ports of console games a significant amount of time after the console versions only to patch the issues as time goes by eventually getting it to people’s satisfaction though I can’t think of a specific example off the top of my head.

This reminds me of an article I read in Electronic Gaming Monthly where they were interviewing Kojima as part of a preview for Metal Gear Solid 3. The part that stood out to me was he mentioned something along the lines of being fascinated by the fact that players from different countries played the game completely

That looks way better then what it was before. Then again not a high bar to jump over.

This was directly addressed in the stream and they said yes they would.

I fully endorse this alternate history.

Honestly I hope the biggest thing from this is some of the older EA games that are on Steam get updated again. I know in a few cases such as the Crysis games for example on Steam they didn’t update them to work in a 64 bit architecture but did so on Origin which required some work arounds for users that don’t work for

I will with hold judgement when this actually comes out. Overall GitS has been a decent franchise and as long as it turns out better then the 3d Saint Seiya I’ll be happy. Shinji Aramaki at least I have liked his work in the past and if something involved with SAC is also involved I don’t think that is a bad thing

I actually have Star Trek Judgement Rites on CD Rom. Sadly I never got the sound to actually work due to driver issues when I was a kid. Also never occurred to me to print out the star map that was in the digital manual since anywhere you go that is not part of that leg of the mission and resulted in an instant space

Not much of a Ban considering the team basically already done it to themselves voluntarily. Not to mention slow on the draw.

I feel in some ways the fact that she is a Caucasian individual who decided to cosplay a character that is a person of color put her in a no win situation. As we see when she created the full body prosthetic and made it the same skin tone as the fictional character some have accused her of doing a form of black face.

Personally, I am going to withhold judgement one way or another until we see what sort of product they put out.

Surprised Symbiontic Titan, Thundercats (2011), Beware the Batman and Green Lantern didn’t also get shout outs.
