I actually got into the habit of placing a napkin in between the cardboard sleeve and the cup right along the side where the seam is, just simply to catch any leakage. I also make sure the seam is on the exact opposite side of the mouth.
It's the one where Homer goes to clown college to become a Krusty look-a-like. Classic episode.
