Agreed. Ever since human settlement expansion has crowded out carnivore territory and reduced their populations, their prey has populated out of control in some cases. I eat my chili con carne over spaghetti noodles, it's a cheap way to get some complex carbs into an otherwise low(ish) carb bowl of stew, and gives a great texture. No cinnamon in my chili though, tomatoes, onions, garlic, chili peppers, shredded chuck, and an assortment of spices from my pantry.
