You mean like the meddling of an administration in power trying to use flimsy opposition research to overturn an election?
You mean like the meddling of an administration in power trying to use flimsy opposition research to overturn an election?
Right, so not paying for info on opposition = bad. Funneling money through a third party to pay an ex-MI5 spy for a dossier that he admits can’t be corroborated, then taking said dossier and turning government resources to the effort to obtain a FISA warrant to influence an election, then to attempt to overturn an…
Those all turned out great (With the literal single exception of the United States) !
Well there’s kind of a problem with their tactic because if the bills were actually popular, people would be furious about it being stonewalled...But they’re not. Because they’re not popular - so really to avoid accepting that reality Splinter’s only option is to support an inevitably failed impeachment.
I mean, it’s just as insane as continually screaming about impeachment, forcing a 2+ year investigation that came up with no indictments on their intended target to the tune of $12mil, and then STILL yelling “IT DOESN’T MATTER IF THERE’S NO HARD EVIDENCE WE’RE COMING IN HOT!” and then bitching and moaning when the DoJ…
Well, true. They made at least a minimal effort to try and be a reputable news source...They still didn’t do very well. The reason Vox/GMG bleed money so badly is because they’re very clearly in no way reputable, as you can always tell by the unprofessional writing style and the lack of any attempt whatsoever to hide…
Except Vox is bleeding money rapidly as well, and they even got a massive $200mil infusion from NBC.
Okay, then you give them your money. Just you.
They’ve been filling their pockets with aid money for decades.
“More money for Listicles!” shouted Buzzfeed employees, as they desperately dialed their parents on their hot pink iPhone X’s to ask for rent and bar money.
OH NO, NO MORE LISTICLES?! OH THE HUMANITY!
“As someone who’s worked at BuzzFeed for more than six years, I’m deeply invested in the company and its future—which is exactly why I’m so invested in the newsroom unionizing,” BuzzFeed News Deputy Culture Editor Rachel Sanders said, “Because nobody else will hire me with BuzzFeed on my resume`.”
You could’ve probably just made the headline to this article “Lib Status: Owned” based on how the Splinter commentariat will react to this.
Did you learn nothing from Splinter’s “Eh, it’s okay to not vote” post rapidly switching to “OMG HOW DID YOU IDIOTS NOT FUCKING VOTE?” Post 2016 Election?
Counterpoint: No.
Steyer still hilariously wasted a ton of money on a futile effort.
Provide one piece of evidence of payoff from foreign leaders.
You would think, given the number of times Splinter has fallen on their faces starting in the run up to the 2016 election to now, they would simply say “What do we want? Okay, then the opposite of that must be true.”
AOC certainly is better at using the media...Like when she used the media to say, directly in to a microphone, “The optics might, like, be bad, it may not be convenient, but we need a raise!” Or how she was saying this as she hustled off to do nothing and didn’t stick around for Jon Stewart to lambast her over First…
