Serious question, not trolling. Deadspin has been very active in promoting player safety in a variety of sports. How do you square that with covering a blood sport like this? To me, even watching the NFL can be problematic because of the risk of injury, especially head injury, and my enjoyment of big hits in football…

that particular wiper assembly is incredibly expensive and involved to replace and to install - i assume that when it went bad, it was simpler and more cost-effective to just replace the vehicle around it.
