As much as I liked the pilot, I know that Cartoon Network will only release four episodes every six to eight months, then eventually bury the show on Sunday mornings between reruns of Teen Titans Go!.

Yeah.  That was pretty big opening dream sequence to the episode and it was just “hand waved” like it was nothing.
